Markus Jatsch Partners (MJP) is an award-winning practice for architecture, urban design and design consultation. Founded by Markus Jatsch, the RIBA chartered firm has over 15 years of work experience in Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East.
MJP is pursuing a rigorous search for new potentials in architecture through which to discover and implement specific, thoughtful, and unexpected solutions.
Fusing global experience and general knowledge with precise understanding and appreciation of local conditions, MJP applies critical thinking to a process that extends beyond the boundaries of architectural production. The practice seeks to engage people and cultures, technologies and materials, psychologies and experiences and recognises architecture as a connective and fundamentally social construct.
The work is based upon a solid foundation of design excellence, budget and programme control, proficient project management and the achievement of best value and architectural quality. MJP believes that high quality design results from continuity of the design process and intensive dialogue with the client, consultants, contractors and end users. The practice works closely together with an international team of specialists to ensure the best results are achieved through a synthesis of concept, beauty and functional integration.
MJP is involved in a diverse range of projects for private, commercial and public sector clients. Among current projects are several retail, cultural and leisure facilities in the United Arab Emirates and a masterplan for a new mountain resort in Belgium.
